Species: Shadow Wolf - {Shadow's are wolves set on this earth to protect, heal, and restore. They have certain abilities, heightened senses, massive strength, lightning speed, and can sometimes tell whether said wolf is lying, cheating, etc. They also have the ability to heal others, placing their paws on the victim and sending their soul through to revive/restore the others. Thus, they lose part of their own soul and life in the process. They are immortal too, only being able to be killed by a certain breed, called a Hunter. Which is basically the Shadows whom have turned to the dark side.}

Dakota was born into a pack, a pack full of normal, mortal wolves. She however, was a bit different. See, what her pack didn't know, was that she had inherited her great grandmothers special ability. When only a pup, she began to realize who she was, and how she was different. Her great grandmother, who due to being immortal was still alive, came one night and took Dakota away with her. Together, the two roamed the earth, helping the helpless and healing the hurt. One day, when Dakota was in her teen years, they were approached by a threesome of Hunters, who had come to kill the two. Right away, Kota and her grandmother fought, killing two of the Hunters rather quickly. However, the third jumped onto Kota's grandmother, snapping her neck only to go after Kota in the next second. Forced to forget about the event that just occurred before her eyes, she fought as hard as she could, blood thirsty and merciless. After her head cleared and she saw what she had done, the Hunter lied on the ground dead, in bits and pieces along with the other dead Hunters. After that, she learned to mask her scent, never wanting to come across another Hunter again. She misses her grandmother dearly, and will sometimes have random mood swings in which she grieves the death of her. Knowing that living alone was not meant for her, she decided to put her abilities for use. Joining Voca in Ignis as a high ranked guard. Still dragging through life, she didn't know how much longer she could do it. She felt lonely, useless; the only thing keeping her going was the thrill of the fight she occasionally got being a guard. Then, she met Svex. A wolf who was much like her, and who cared for her in the roughest of times. Through thick and thin, Svex has been there. Without him, there's no telling where Kota would be now...
